At Triangle Food Tours, our tours are generally around 3 hours long. We meet at a predetermined location and set out on foot to explore the rich history, culture, and architecture of cities in the Triangle region. Throughout the tour, we stop at shops and restaurants for tasting experiences that are not only delicious, but are also representative of that city’s unique history and culture.

On our three-hour walking tour, we experience the vibrant downtowns of Chapel Hill & Carrboro through their unique food culture.

      Often overlooked by visitors to the Triangle (and even by local residents), downtown Cary is a culinary hidden gem just waiting to be tasted. Join us as we sample some of the best that Cary has to offer. A lovey downtown full of art and park with games, seating and a beautiful fountain.

 

    • Downtown Durham
      On our tour of Durham, guests learn about the city’s blue-collar roots and the tobacco and textile mills that laid the foundation for this diverse and thriving community. We will also explore how food has shaped Durham’s transformation and turn it into the “South’s Tastiest Town,” according to Southern Living Magazine. 

 

  • We keep our tour groups small.
    • We limit our tour groups to 10-12 guests, max. This makes for a more intimate, meaningful guest experience and ensures that guests can easily interact with the guide and each other.

    • We not only offer food tours of cities in the Triangle region, we also offer field trips to other culinary destinations in the Southeast, including Charleston, Savannah, and more (due to Covid-19 this trips have been put on hold till 2021-2022).
